It all began 70 years ago when the best pizza restaurant opened in Waterbury, Connecticut. People fell in love with our authentic Italian pizza. In short time, our pizzeria became known as the best place to eat pizza in Waterbury and beyond.

From the start, Domenic’s & Vinnie’s goal was to “Serve the most delicious and freshest pizza imaginable, taking no short-cuts.”

Commitment to quality pays off. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are combined with a special family recipe — handed down for generations, dating back to our family roots in Castelpaganica, Italy.

After opening in 1949, Vinnie’s became so popular that one year later we decided to open another restaurant in Middlebury, Connecticut. Several years later, we opened another pizzeria in Southington, Connecticut. All three of our locations can be found with lines of patrons out the door on a Saturday evening but we promise to do our best to make the short wait worth it.

Every pizza is always made with the same passion our Domenic’s & Vinnie’s founder inspired. Freshly made dough and pizza sauce, mouthwatering homemade sausage and meatballs. Once you try a slice from Domenic’s & Vinnie’s we hope that you may never want to eat pizza from anywhere else again.
